Students studying Spanish at East Lansing High School visited the gallery November 24, 2009 for a class project.  Roy Saper was the successful bidder on the "Lifesaver Bra" at a November 11, 2009 fund-raiser that will allow more women to have mammograms to detect cancer. See the video here. Locally, in June, 2009 The Towne Courier readers voted Saper Galleries their Favorite Art Gallery of the couple dozen in the area. In May, 2008 Lansing City Pulse and, again, Towne Courier newspaper readers voted Saper Galleries as Best Art Gallery. Saper Galleries and Custom Framing was honored to have again been voted the Best of the Best among art galleries in the 2007 Lansing State Journal readers' poll. Also in 2007 (as in prior years) Saper Galleries earned two "Best of the Best" awards from The Towne Courier newspaper -- for best art gallery and also for best picture framer. In 2003 gallery owner
