The Whitney Museum of
American Art in New York City displayed two of
Tunis Ponsen's lithographs February 28 to March 20,
1933 as shown on page 11 of this exhibition
catalogue and indicated below. Four of his lithographs were also exhibited June 1 to November 1, 1933 at the Century of Progress International Exposition in Chicago at the Art Institute of Chicago. At the time, Ponsen lived at 4422 Oakenwald Avenue in Chicago. See the catalog page here where his exhibited lithographs are listed after Picasso's entry. Two of the lithographs below are also in the collection of the United States National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.. Note that the supply of these rare Ponsen lithographs from the Tunis Ponsen estate is quite limited. They are available only from Saper Galleries. |
