| Born
in 1939 in Alep, Syria, Najjar-Barsoumian Hratchya
initially studied design in his native Syria. He moved
to Paris in 1966 where he attended the prestigious Ecole
des Beaux-Arts and shifted his focus to engraving for
which he became well known. These two etchings
were published and acquired by Roy Saper directly from
Jacques de Champvallins in Paris. |
